A burner is needed to produce sulphur dioxide from sulphur and air. A converter is then used to convert the sulpher dioxide to sulphur trioxide. An absorption tower is needed to form oleum by dissolving the sulphur trioxide in concentrated sulphuric acid. A dilution tank is used to mix the oleum with water to make sulpuric acid.
